Homewood Suites by Hilton Atlantic City/Egg Harbor Township, NJ

The hotel is dated for sure and feels shabby - not gross - just shabby-patched up kind of- but the breakfast is excellent, staff is friendly. Feels very safe. Citrine (at the desk) was awesome, engaging, friendly, made us feel so welcome after a long day. Location was great, beds were comfortable, quiet.

Positive: The hotel was very nice from the outside. The inside was decorated nice for fall. The room rooms are also pretty big. Negative: The rooms are outdated have very old, dirty cheap furniture. The wallpaper is ripping off of some of the walls in the rooms of the hotel. The elevator was also not working the entire trip thankfully I was on the first floor, but I my family was on the 4th

My family just packed up and left. We didn’t spend the night. The place is rundown as it is and cleanliness is definitely an issue. When we arrived I had to ask for an extra sheet to cover the couch in because it was covered in dog hair and stains. Then we just opened it to make a bed for my five year old and holy foul - it was covered in food and bodily fluids and has clearly not been cleaned. We packed up immediately and are going to a new hotel. I would avoid this place at all costs.

I don’t even know where to begin. Rooms: I feel like I’m at Motel 6. Very outdated & crappy looking. The curtains in the room and living room are torn and someone literally put red tape on it like that’s any better. Food: I probably would be better off eating prison food. Tastes like food you would give to homeless people. I found hair in my eggs which was the only one decent thing to eat besides bread. The containers are empty when it’s about 30 min before breakfast stops & no one is refilling anything. Same with the “Evening Social” they offer which all I was able to guess was there was some kind of sandwiches but I wouldn’t know because every tray was empty at 6:30. Cleaning: I’ve been here since Monday and have not seen one cleaning cart in the mornings on my floor. Makes me wonder… I

Was here on business My company screwed up the reservation, typical... however the lady at the front desk was very understanding & attentive.. worked well to ensure I get my room & have a relaxing night... Room are pretty much mini apartments... very spacious with full kitchen... Plenty of parking for a commercial & shopping/late night with in walking distance.. Was unable to use TV, only able to turn on & off & volume.. remote didn't do anything els.. fridge thermostat broken.. Had a late check out, yet house keeping came knocking even with the do not disturb up.. then 30min later the manager came knocking I called the front desk to make sure my late check out was in the system, it was... They should check the system before knocking on the door.. Otherwise overall a very nice hotel
