Hampton Inn Egg Harbor Township Atlantic City

My wife and I stayed here mid-December while visiting from Florida. A horrible freezing time to be in NJ but a great stay. The location was easy to get too, the staff was friendly and funny and it was a very comfortable stay. The room was perfect with some minor glitches but nothing to write home about. I tried to use the outside pool but the front desk would not open it up for me, I was disappointed 🤣🤣! It was only 22° outside! The breakfast in the morning was your standard breakfast and good but what stood out was the server, Cuc Ly, who made this whole stay worth it. It was our second time staying here when visiting, with more to come, and both times we stayed , we saw her hard work, dedication and commitment to the customers and the overwhelming friendliness she presented! The staff is super - friendly! The hot breakfast was impressive and actually delicious with a nice variety of items. The bed was comfy while the shower had plenty of hot water. I enjoyed my stay here. I would definitely stay again.

Positive: Location Negative: 1st night Air condition failed so slept in uncomfortable warm night. 2nd night, thermostat was removed so room became freezer as temperature couldn?t be lower w/out the unit. Hotel Manger refused to compensate because it was not booked directly.

This hotel was fine. Clean, good breakfast, adequate shower. I think what threw me off is the total indifference of the staff. They weren’t unfriendly, but not one single employee cracked a smile, said hello, or seemed to care. I was just there for the night and didn’t encounter any problems. Upon check out, I was handed my bill right away when I asked for it. There was no smile, no “have a nice day.” Glad it was a quick stay.

I stayed at this hotel few times and love it for their cleanliness and hospitality. Last time I forgot a bag with clothes and they promptly got it shipped to me. Whenever I am in the area, I will always stay here. The GM Jonathan Gonzalez was more than helpful and the front desk staff were wonderful
