Hometown Motel

On New Year's I regretfully made a rash decision to rent a king size room for myself only to regroup and refresh as well as catch on on personal administrative needs due to personal neglect due to the fact that I've been living homeless on the streets of the inner city for nearly two years. Tonight was a desperately needed and well deserved respite which turned sour all too soon and here's why: For starts I paid too much in my personal opinion for the service that brought me too my secret hide-a-way by a Somalian Man with a combative personality... Red Flag. Second, my door was so hard to open myself that the maintenance man had to assist me because it actually required a strong shoulder bump to get in.... I already have a damaged rotator cuff. DO NOT GO HERE rude unprofessional, constant fighting on the parking lot, roaches and unfinished rooms. The staff are unprofessional and openly discriminate against the elderly and disabled, and will go off on you and start yelling and screaming for nothing. Threw me out because I needed a paramedic. It’s not worth the 75 because the staff is probably going to yell and scream at you for no reason at some point. Shut this place down.

I'm only giving this place a 2* rating only because of the caretaker on the property, NOT the actual owners. I stayed here for 3 days, if I had to ask for anything of necessity, it seemed like such a problem for the owner. Also, the room wasn't very clean and I had my kids here with me. If you're by yourself and don't mind busy traffic, rude owners and dirty rooms. For $80 a night, then this is the place for you. For the night shift employee, thank you for your kindness and helpfulness, best wishes.

The owner and staff were very nice and courteous. The rooms were clean and my nights stay was quiet and peaceful. The room didn't have any conveniences such as a coffee pot but I expected that considering the price and location. But it was located by gas stations and fast food restaurants. All in all it was a good motel for a reasonable price.

My friends stay here frequently. The place is old with no updates. The room , # 21, has no bath, only a shower. It has an old micro fridge sitting on the floor next to the ancient tv, which is up on a cart (?). There is a printed out notice, or list of rules, with misspelled words that drives me insane every time i look at it. This same notice is plastered all over the place. They are very, very serious about the number of guests. So serious, in fact, that the manager came into the room to let us know that 5 people in a room, even for a brief visit, was definitely against the rules. We had to leave now. We left. Having the same prices as a Motel 6, I would definitely choose the Motel 6. I have heard that they are lenient about when the daily rate is paid and let people who have been the
