Home2 Suites by Hilton Woodland Sacramento

We stay at Home2 Suites regularly when traveling and find them to be fine and a reasonable value. We drive an Ford Mustang EV and chose this location because it had chargers. Unfortunately they are Tesla chargers and we couldn't get connected - although we have used Tesla chargers a number of times successfully. Don't know why we couldn't connect - sure there is a reason, but even though we are experienced EV owners, found no solution. Just a heads up if you are planning on using their charger, might not work.

I'm glad that this property is not playing the game that other Hiltons are and forcing a $10-$20 charge for parking in their private parking lot. I avoid those properties. Very nice hotel! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was brand new, I think we were the first guests to stay in it. We had a full sized fridge, microwave, dishes, glasses,etc The beds are really comfortable and there was plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I transport items all over the country so basically staying in hotels every night. This is one of my go to stops when passing through. Great location. Comfortable, quiet and clean.

Upon attempting to make a reservation with Walt, I asked him for a total. He gave me a number but I asked him to confirm that was including the 'Pet Deposit'. He said that it would be an extra $75, and I was shocked! "That's the standard fee, Mister." I replied with, "I have found it to be between $20-50, wow!" In the middle of me thanking him for his time, he abruptly hung up on me. I couldn't believe how rude the whole interaction was...!
