Home2 Suites by Hilton San Antonio Airport, TX

At this place you are not welcome, the manager sent me to the street, turn around and left because I do not have a credit card to put a hold of ridiculous US $15, eventhough I had cash. The manager treat people in very bad way. This is América is what he said, I will tell him I Am your guest and I was a Hilton fun but from now never again, I would never recomend to anybody to book this place. Also they do not clean well , I found hair from prior guest in the bathroom. It was not a Hilton experience like I had before. Shame.

The quality of the room is not what should be for a Home 2 Suites. The bathroom wall paper is torn, and the finishes were peeling from the light fixture and on the doors also. The bed mattress felt sunk in. For the price I paid and as a longtime Hilton Honors member, this was not worth the cost. The staff informed me that I would be contacted by the manager and I never heard anything.

What a joke of a hotel. The AC would not get below 70f, told the front desk and was told “the engineer would be up to fix it” What is his degree in, not showing up? Nope, it was never fixed and I was not notified. The shower door was broken (off the track), the housekeeping staff left a bag of garbage bag in the counter in the bathroom and our key digital key didn’t work on day 2. 4 trips to the front desk, 2 “resets” and 2 key cards later it was fixed. The only positive besides the location (like 7 minutes from the AP) was the lovely woman who runs the breakfast buffet, she was a shining star. The room and service were horrible.

Positive: Location to airport Negative: Had to catch a Lyft because the shuttle was not available until 3pm. I had to be at the airport at 11am. Why advertise something you don’t offer at all times.

They charge $10 for parking and I can't figure out why. They have a terribly cold breakfast, because they are too cheap to get the warmers that keep food warm. The coffee area is ridiculous. No creamer, no hot chocolate. Just coffee and half and half. This isn't a Home2suites, this is like a super cheap hotel your mama warned you to avoid. The saving grace was the friendliness of the staff. I feel bad for them. They can't even have a good cup of Joe in the morning. This place is definitely franchised out. The owner is cheap. Go somewhere else and save your money. This is not what you expect from Home2suites. Did I mention this location charges for the washer and dryer??? Yeah. Exactly.
