Positive: Very clean room and the breakfast was great...dogs should not be allowed in the (eating area, which is the lobby area), other people staying there felt the same way.I guess I just have to look for hotels that don't allow pets. Negative: unclean dog smell in the lobby area......perhaps an outside doggie shower station would help so dogs can shower before entering the hotel. or have the lobby and elevator areas cleaned more often. Cleaner pool water - loved the clean towels.

My wife and I stayed at this property last night, after dropping family off at the cruise port. |The property is in an excellent location, across from the sea wall. Down the street from The Gumbo Diner (you must try). |The room was nice. We did upgrade from a king to a 2 queen with balcony, so that was an additional expense. The room.rate felt high anyway, but it's Galveston, so whatever. |The water pressure in the shower was terrible. My normal 10 minute shower took 30 minutes. |We were on the 3rd floor (room 318). The people above us (I think a family), were oblivious to how hard they walk across the floor. We did not sleep well. |At 7:30, we were up on a Sunday morning. Great place to stay right on the Galveston Sea Wall! Right next to a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Shop and Pizza and Wings place. The rooms were very nice and spacious. We got a Balcony Room over the Pool, so we could relax and see the Gulf Waves. You will hear Road noise no matter where you stay on the sea wall. The Staff was friendly and they had two Breakfast Buffets with pancakes on one and Waffles on the other side. There was plenty of parking. My only complaint is that the Eleptical was broken and one of the treadmills was inoperative as well. It would have been a perfect stay other than that. I'd give it 9 our of 10 Stars and highly recommend it for a family vacations or just a weekend getaway.

Convenient location to the beach and restaurants. Rooms were clean and ready when we arrived. Bfast was nice, two sides, so not stacked with people trying to get bfast. This is a great place to stay pre- cruise if you are going out of Galveston. A short 10 min uber to the port.

Couldn’t get accommodated to the room I wanted, they put me in a room very close to the entrance on the 2nd floor and it was noisy. Though I loved the beach view. The lady in the front, not sure what her name is but I had called yesterday at around 1 PM to ask for an extended late check-out and she was very rude. She didn’t really give me any info, other than I would’ve have to pay an additional night if I were to leave late pass 2 PM and I had to leave at 7 PM. Because of this; I had to leave earlier than estimated due to work purposes and will most likely not get refunded for the time I wasn’t there and the night I didn’t go to sleep which was last night! Probably won’t come back here again, probably will! Who knows
