Home2 Suites by Hilton Carlsbad

Our stay was lovely. Hotel is in a good location. The rooms are very large, clean and well-stocked. All of the staff members with whom I interacted were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I didn't take advantage of the fitness center, business center, or laundry but I absolutely love that the Home2 Suites provides these services. The breakfast was absolutely stellar! They had a good variety, all the food was fresh and tasty. I was thrilled to see egg bites instead of watery scrambled eggs. The 24 hour coffee bar was also well stocked and fresh! A perfect stay for a family.

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel during a visit to the nearby National Parks. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean and spacious the room was. The AC worked wonderfully and the bed was comfy. This was our first stay at a Home2Suites and we enjoyed it so much we will probably be on the lookout for others during future trips. ||The only con was the breakfast buffet which I found to be a bit lacking in choices but we didn’t count on eating there so no big deal.

The Hotel is Great but Just so you know they charge $3.00 a night for parking and then have signs up that they are not responsible for your vehicle. If they are going to charge they should be responsible. Did someone just pocket that money. We drove across the United States and stayed in Home 2 suites all the way across and not one other place charged for parking.

Our stay far exceeded our expectations. After driving for 12 hours with four kiddos, the front desk was so hospitable and welcoming to us. The kiddos were offered to select some trinkets by the sweet front desk ladies. And the rooms....wow. I've stayed at regular Hilton hotels, but not these with the kitchenettes. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and so functional for us. The breakfast buffet too...that lady deserves a pat on the back and i wish I had caught her name. She was on it keeping the area clean and fully stocked, and she was smiling the whole time. You could tell she took pride in what she did. We think we have found our new go to family friendly travel lodging choice.

This was an unexpected stay. Upon arrival the person at the front desk was so friendly. We were able to book a room with no problem and even got to choose how far from the elevator we wanted it. The room was spacious, clean, and even had a privacy curtain to separate the couch area from the beds. The breakfast was delicious. They had all kinds of options like waffles, cereal, eggs and more. Staff was so kind even when asked for toothbrushes and toothpaste, they provided it at no cost. Overall great spot.
