Holland Inn and Suites

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!!! PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW. The pricing may seem convincing but it is not worth it. might as well just make a bed in your car. The first moment I came in there was a mysterious liquid on the bathroom floor along with condoms in the trash. There is no AC/ heating system and the residents who were staying there were extremely sketchy. also it was EXTREMELY dirty there was BUGS IN OUR TOWELS. She came into our room without our consent moved stuff around it was AWFUL. I ended up leaving and she did not care at all DO NOT GO HERE.

We somehow ended up in the only room that still has fabric curtains at this property - it wouldn’t be an issue except that they reeked of cigarette smoke and in turn so did the room itself - all other rooms have updated plantation style shutters. It also didn’t provide much privacy - either were open to the world to see in our room or stuck in a cave during daylight hours. Rooms are very tiny and basic. They do not have a latch lock on the inside of the door - only a little lock on the door handle - needless to say we didn't feel very safe after dark. There is no air conditioning in the room; only a freestanding fan. It’s humid in Morro Bay so it was pretty miserable in the evenings. The TV was very small, but worked fine. I wasn't going to share my experience but after Booking.com and the accommodation failed me on a full refund I decided to share. I stayed at Holland inn for the light boat parade a whole weekend there to wake up Sunday at 3am to bed bugs! They were on my bed and on my disabled daughter's sheets. I captured them and took them to manager right away in tears!!! She just looked at them in a cup and shook her head! I literally packed up all my stuff in trash bags threw most away and what I could part with came home washed and froze! I am barely recovering with full hopes of no infestation of my own home. Save yourself the trouble stay away from what sound like a sweet deal $$$ We stayed in room 107 and let it be known this was thier executive suite!!!

I have been traveling to San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay for the past year for some business I need to take care of and out of all the hotels we have stayed at, this is one of the worst . First of all, the website is very misleading, it said for our suite, we would get 3 queen beds . When we arrived, we only had 2 full queen beds and the third was a pull out spring mattress on the couch. NOT an actual bed. To top it off , the mattress had one thin dirty sheet. When me and my husband went to ask the front desk for extra sheets and blankets, a woman who I’m pretty sure was the owner said they don’t give out extra sheets and blankets. She said that the beds already come with them which I explained to her that the pull out mattress have one very thin sheet, which was dirty And we wanted a clean
