Helloooooooo, our favorite campground! So favorite, that we come here - EVERY - Memorial, 4th of July and Labor weekends! Why? Because - $$$$$$$$ is the best in town, FUN atmosphere! Very family oriented ... lil's running and riding all around ... golf carts with happy families with laughter and smiles ... and depending on when you're at the campground ... the golf carts can be very festive for Memorial, 4th, labor day and especially the whole month of October for Halloween! The staff is super friendly -- except DO NOT accidentally go into their 'living quarters' ... they mean it when they say DO NOT ENTER -- hehehehehe ... understandable. MY FAVORITE is Gerald --- NICEST, most helpful person EVER! June is great too, but I talk with Gerald the most - wink wink. We are, like many othe

Good afternoon, I have been intending to write this review and just now getting to the time to do so.. I wanted to say I had a blast with my family and friends at this park. I travel to different parks and places and the staff and the other campers was so awesome. I love to do karaoke and I invited my camping neighbors and friends and family; the experience was if everyone knew each other and everyone participated and respectful of each other. I did not want to leave. The amenities that the park has to over, the shuttles to the beach and the staff. I am originally from the Hamptonroads area and I truly felt as if I was home with my family. The park was clean; the people was respectful of each other, the guest and staff; and I am disable and the park was very accommodating to me especiall

I do so much traveling and I live about fifteen minutes from here. We love the idea of getting away from town but we don't... Why leave when we already know this is by far the best campground in every way. Kids are never bored. The grown ups are having way more fun than I ever see anywhere else. Laundry cafe pools even in winter and live music often!

We come here often with friends, and it is always a bit of culture shock. We are very used to staying in state parks with big sites, respectful fellow campers, and calm. If you are looking for a campground with a party atmosphere, don't mind golf carts with LED lights and blaring music throughout the day and night, and don't mind being 15 ft from your neighbor, this is the place for you. They also have a LOT of things for kids- pool, playground, activities, a bonus for sure for those with the 13 and under crowd. If you are hoping for a quiet, calm, get back to nature experience, and you have no kids, or kids who are good with making their own fun, this is not the place for you.

This is the place to be if you want to party all night and be right on top of your neighbors. It is not the place to be if you want to relax in a calm environment. They had concerts going until 11:30 pm on Friday and Saturday. It was so loud you could hear it into our camper over our TV. Having never been here before i had no idea about this. I booked my stay over the phone and feel they should have warned us. Sunday my neighbors decided to have their own campsite party and had their music very loud. Needless to say we will not be back. We prefer a quiet relaxing environment. ** I will say when I called to complain I was told we could leave in the morning ang get credit for the nights we didn't stay. The problem was we were so packed in around us with all the cars and golf carts w
