Holiday Inn Virginia Beach - Norfolk

Overall a good experience, got in really late and wanted to check in and sleep. Front desk was super busy with all the people purchasing alcohol. There was only 1 person doing it all. Parking does fill up and is hard to find after about 6pm. When we stayed there were empty beer cans all over the parking lot. Our room was clean and comfortable. The options for daily housekeeping was nice as well. The hotel smells of weed throughout it. Our 4th night there were children running across the room into the wee hours of the morning, in the room above us. Staff was pleasant and friendly. It could use a good cleaning in elevators and on the front doors. Most IHG hotels offer free use of washer and dryers. This one does not, nor does it have a complimentary breakfast.

My experience was absolutely delightful. The staff was very supportive answering all my pre-visit questions and I had plenty, especially Mina who made sure I got an accessible room and a upgrade, too. I felt so spoiled! I'm sure that all other hotel stays will pale in comparison to my stay last weekend. Thank you again Miss Mina for being so helpful and supportive.

It was a beautiful hotel and rooms. Only thing I wish they had was complimentary breakfast. The staff were friendly and quick at check in and check out. The rooms were clean and had plenty of lighting to turn on or off. Good stay. They just have something going on with the pipes, I’m assuming air.. there is a screeching while using the shower. But other than that, great stay.

My second stay, and with my event having rebooked the place, I'll be back next year. Maybe twice. The service is faultless. "Can I get the room I had last year?" "Well, we can definitely get you on that hallway." Nope, same room. 304, right next to the con suite. Shameira and George took great care of us at the dinner buffet. And bless you guys for that little wireless charging pad on the lobby hangout table.

This place has some of the best food servings I had ever tried! There is much for the buffets, I also enjoy the conferences. The renovation they have done over the past few years has been the best, I love their lobby bar at this time. They just ought to open up their coffee shop more often because it is too adorable to just pass by.
