Holiday Inn & Suites Waco Northwest

This is a Holiday Inn (not express) so it has on site bar and restaurants. We already ate supper so we didn't partake in the evening offerings.|Our room was luxurious with every amenity. Exercise room was well equipped and "just right" for what we needed. These are things you would expect from a high-end hotel but what we didn't expect was the very low price at right around $100! |Breakfast buffet had good offerings and the cost was quite reasonable. Our waiter was attentive and engaging. Great value from a high end hotel - a rare surprise.

We chose this hotel specifically because it advertised having a pool, only to find upon arrival that it has not been operational for months. If the pool has been out of service long-term, it should not be advertised as an available amenity. Upon entering, the front lobby had a strong sewer/standing water odor. It appeared a dehumidifier was being used, possibly in an attempt to address the smell, but it was still very noticeable. The room itself was disappointing. It did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned, as there was visible debris on the floor, and the overall condition felt outdated and poorly maintained. Based on the positive reviews, we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet basic cleanliness or amenity expectations for our family. 0 stars and wo

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was nice and spacious, as was the bathroom. The pool was open and the hot tub really took the edge off the day. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's in a tricky spot location wise, but easy to pick up. And a nice big tv to enjoy the classic Pulp Fiction. Very well done.

Positive: The staff were nice. The sauna was good. That?s it. Negative: Loud neighbors for hours even after calling front desk to complain. Murky pool water. Piles of dirt in the hot tub. I could feel the springs in the pull out couch mattress. Bed mattresses were 5/10. Will not stay there again.

Me a two others drove almost four hours to do a job in Waco which will take at least a week. The lady behind the desk who named Meagan went above and beyond to get us situated. I had difficulty getting the the card and reservation lined up and she stayed at it until she was able to get us taken care of. She went from one computer to help others while coming back and helping me. We are staying for a week and I would definitely stay here again
