Holiday Inn & Suites Virginia Beach - North Beach by IHG

My husband and I have stayed here for vacation in late September two years in a row. I'm disabled and use a scooter. Every place in the hotel was easily accessible for me. We enjoyed the Square Whale, Isle of Capri and the Greenery. The movie theater is awesome with free popcorn. Last year my husband was disappointed the hot tub was not working. It didn't bother me because of my health I can't use a hot tub. We're getting ready to book our September vacation for this year. Is the hot tub working?

We had a mini family reunion in December with multiple families. The kids enjoyed the pool and movie room. We hope to come back again with the new renovations and to enjoy the 2 outdoor pools! Also, the suites were very spacious. We loved the views of the ocean from our rooms and the sound of the ocean. The staff from the front desk to the housekeeping were so kind and greeted us every time. We will be back!

Very nice hotel with lots of amenities. Parts are under renovation which is a good thing. Room was a little dated with carpet flooring. The bathroom shower pressure awesome. The sliding patio door was tight in the track making it hard to slide closed and attach locking latch. IHG members are verbally recognized at check in, and the hotel offers points for being "Green" in rooms. Hotel staff all friendly and polite. Location is great on the beach with awesome views and easy beach/boardwalk access. Parking garage is directly across the street but costs $10 per night and kind of dark and I didn't notice any cameras?. Convenience store (7-Eleven) located directly across the street. Lots of awesome restaurants very close by and in easy walking distance.

We vacation here every summer because it is the best! The rooms could use some updating, but the pool situation and the kids Club make it a perfect place for families. It is right at the end of the boardwalk, so the beach feels quieter. Izzy in the kids club was outstanding. She even let us pick out the movie that was going to play the next day. Love this place and we will be back next summer.

Positive: We were sent into a real dumpy room at first. The place was old and carpets and elevators were gross. I went to front desk and they changed us to a much nicer room. Thank goodness or I would of been crazy mad. From 431 to 602. Negative: They are doing a complete re-do this fall. Thanks cause it needs it. Also breakfast was 20.00 a person. Husband didn't like the food at all. (and he eats anything)
