Holiday Inn & Suites San Antonio Northwest by IHG

This hotel was extremely disappointing. When I first checked into the room. I did notice the mold around the bathtub, which is pretty gross, but I’ve seen that before. It wasn’t until after I had unpacked a little bit that I noticed the stains on the furniture in the room. So I just figured I wouldn’t use any of the furniture || Later in the evening, I noticed The black mold in the air vents that it stained the ceiling the next morning I noticed the black mold around the top of the walls in the bathroom. On the second day, they’re actually were chunks of dusty mold that had blown out and gotten onto the furniture under the vent.||There was really not hot water the entire time I stayed, it was lukewarm at best. ||I travel a lot for work and I’ve seen some bad holiday inns, this one’s in the

Positive: The staff are friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very conveniently located near restaurants, HEB grocery store and Walmart as well as convenience for me to attend workshops at Roadrunner Ceramics. I have stayed twice and will definitely stay again. Negative: ""

Based on the premises, the hotel is great. Good and convenient location close to lots of restaurants. Nice and spacious room. But the night front desk staff treated us like we were a bother instead of a paying guest. He was so rude to the point of being disrespectful. We did not feel welcomed and honestly it made our stay very uncomfortable.I have been wanting to stay here for a while, but I don't want to fo back and be treated like a nuisance again.

Only stayed one night. They upgraded my room for no charge and gave me a very spacious suite. The hotel and room were nice and clean. The location was in an excellent location for my needs. The water pressure was great, but the water temp wouldn't get hot enough for my liking. The wifi also wouldn't allow me to connect my Firestick up to the tv.

Very disappointing experience. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk, and we were left waiting with no explanation. A hotel should always have someone available at reception. When a staff member finally showed up, his attitude was tense and unwelcoming. Every time we approached the desk, he seemed irritated and confrontational. Instead of resolving concerns professionally, the situation escalated unnecessarily, and police involvement was even mentioned — which was shocking given that we were simply paying guests expecting basic service. Management should seriously review how guest interactions are handled. Hospitality requires professionalism and respect, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here. I would not recommend staying at this property. Very disappointing
