First and last time I'll stay here. HOW IS BREAKFAST NOT FREE!!!??? $13 + tax for powdered eggs!!?? Crazy. READ THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS! Similar issues with elevators, noisy air condition, etc. Nothing was grievously bad, but nothing was good or better than other places nearby for the same price. Some issues were: dirty shower curtain (had toothpaste and hair from previous guest), electrical outlet in bathroom loose so the hair dryer never worked right, air conditioner was very loud (woke me up multiple times), TV was very small and had no movie channels or modern options, internet was very slow, no way to turn on lights by bed for reading, only 1 elevator worked continuously, towels were very scratchy and smelled terrible (thank goodness I brought my own), fridge was smaller than mo
The room wasn't the only trouble. On the third floor the down elevator button doesn't work. Both elevators smelled like burnt grease. My stay was 4 days 3 nights, out of the 3 nights I had to have my card reset twice so I could get into my room at night. The bathroom door didn't latch. The wall thermostat would not control the minisplit. I had to control that from the panel. On the plus side, it wasn't under construction.
We stayed here for 2 nights for my daughter’s cross country race. The hotel was in a good location and close to several restaurants and a Target. Our room was clean and roomy. There was some confusion with breakfast which came with our room block. Breakfast was fine, but they completely ran out of coffee the second day. The coffee in breakfast area needed something changed, and no one knew how to fix it. They made some in the lobby, but I ran out of time to wait.
Positive: They allowed me to switch to double beds at no extra charge because the visit changed from my wife to my dad. Very kind and gracious staff. Beds were super comfortable too. Negative: The room was a little warm and had trouble with the humidity.
My sister and I have stayed at this hotel 5 times over the last few months. Our dad was very sick and we both live out of town and had to take turns visiting to help him. On our last visit he passed away and the staff (shoutout to Ali) were so incredibly accommodating, helpful , and kind to us. We had to keep extending our stay and then added rooms when our families came for the funeral services. Truly appreciate everything yall did for our family and we’ll definitely be staying here whenever we pass through. Thank you!
