Holiday Inn & Suites Boca Raton - North by IHG

I was going to stay on points. In other words, a 10-day stay free. I stayed one night and left. The only thing I can say positive about the hotel is that it was clean. My coffee maker didn't work. My safe didn't work. My bathroom door wouldn't close. This was the second room I got. The first room had a non-functioning thermostat. I tired for a third room but the desk clerk said they were completely booked. Well, OK. Stayed one night (I had arrived at 8:30 PM) and left the follow morning.|A woman I met in the elevator (only 1 of 2 functioning) said that it was the worst Holiday Inn she'd ever stayed in and she was checking out that day too.

The rooms are pretty small but the beds are tiny but they are comfortable! The shower had hair on the wall & shavings from someones razor were still on the sides of the tub & the back of the tub along with dirt finger prints in the shower, definitely was not cleaned properly. The rooms could use some maintenance but they were clean & no bugs. There is a gate to go out of rather than using the lobby but it slams shut which is heard through the entire building on this side of the hotel. Needless to say not much sleep was had here. The front desk guy was nice & apologized, they seem to be understaffed & this didnt seem to be something new to them. We have stayed at this hotel several times and always been happy BUT this time was different. Our room was not cleaned at all our whole stay. We had to go get towels everyday. We are Diamond Elite and expect better service than this. Our room was dark with almost no lights and the shower was full of rust and black mold. They have also started charging to park. The breakfast was awful. It was the worse Holiday Inn breakfast we have ever eaten. The bed needed to have a new mattress it was not easy to sleep on. Sorry but we will never stay here again.

I stayed at the property 1/16/26 - 1/18/26 for the Pepsi Battle of the Bands at FAU stadium. The location was amazing to the stadium (10min drive), Wilton Manor (23min drive) and Miami (35min drive). The pricing for weekend was just amazing for my two friends and I. We stayed in the Queen Suite with the sofa bed. I wasn’t expecting the main room area to be as large as it was. The sofa bed was very comfortable, I only wish they had sheets to fit the mattress properly and a comforter versus just a flat thin sheet to cover myself at night. The queen bedroom area was great, nothing bad to say about it. The bathroom…..it was modern and updated but the shower floor pan you could tell has been there for a while and needs replacing. The room was good. Quiet area. But had the worst experience ever with a housekeeper today 1/2/26. The housekeeper was cleaning room 233 at 9:30 am. I was told by another housekeeper to go to the cart next door to me to get towels and the housekeeper that was inside the room next to me where the cart was came out of the room pulling the cart away from me not allowing me to get any towels. I’ve honestly never had such a bad experience like this before. The housekeeping supervisor did apologize and bring warm, clean towels up to my room. And I appreciate that but I definitely feel as though this particular housekeeper was very unprofessional and should be help accountable for her actions.
