Holiday Inn Riverton-Convention Center by IHG

Room fine. Bathroom could be cleaned better, but that's usually the case in all hotels. Restaurant food very good, not much wait staff, but ok if you're not in a hurry. Friendly staff all the way around and very helpful. Recommend.

Though the facility was nice, we expected a little more from Holiday Inn when spending $200. Starting with check in where they had seen but lost, our reservation. I had done the online checkin the night previous, but they couldn’t find it. The young lady helping was a trainee, and was doing an excellent job. She was helpful, apologetic and very friendly. Her coworker was blunt and not friendly at all. Eventually, got our room and it was fine. Later they dropped off 2 complimentary breakfast restaurant coupons, since this Holiday Inn doesn’t offer free breakfast. When we told the “training leader” that there were 4 of us, she very bluntly informed us that each room got only 2 tickets and that’s just the way it was. A kinder approach explaining this would have gone a long ways, but

I arrived late at night and yet the staff was right at the counter ready to check me in. The room was clean with plenty of space, and the bed was quite comfortable. I was provided clean towels each day, along with efficient room services. The only odd thing was I had to ask the front desk for a hair dryer, because I didn’t think there was one in the room, but it was stored in the dresser under the tv. All in all, a great place to stay.

I’ve stayed here many times in as far back as 25 years ago. The people are always very nice. The rooms are great because it’s been renovated and even though I normally don’t eat at hotels, their food in the kitchen has always been very good and hot. I will continue to stay here as it’s a great place and close to the airport.

Do not expect to get the truth from the front desk. You ask if they have a hot tub, they say yes, you ask 2 more times and they still affirm that they do have one, you get there and they say "oh, that's a special sweet and it's already occupied". Then you have to settle for a cold swimming pool... Not what I paid for,.. in advance after what I was told!!!!
