Hampton Inn & Suites Riverton

We’ve started to count on Hampton Inn for consistent quality when we travel. The Riverton Hampton Inn was staffed by extremely friendly and helpful people, the room was clean and attractive, the beds were comfortable, firm enough for our bad backs. |The complementary breakfast was more ample, varied and tasty than what you usually get in a chain. The dark roast coffee was pretty good and there was lots of fresh fruit, an egg dish, and much more. ||My only suggestion is that it would be nice to have a second chair in a room for two people..

I thought the room was really clean and checking in was fast. The only negative was the breakfast. It's the same Sysco breakfast you get at every place. I don't know how they were able to make potatoes taste bad. A boiled potato with salt on it is amazing. I guess it's cheaper if no one eats it.

Positive: The food was delicious. I wish the breakfast was until 11 instead of 10 so I had time to eat more! :) Negative: There was remodeling work on the flooring in the main lobby and in front of the elevators which caused a lot of inconvenience for my mom who needed the elevator. This is the reason I gave 8 instead of 10 overall stars.

This is so far the best staff we’ve encountered . Just all of them are nice from the front desk, servers and hotel cleaners. Room is huge and they’ve maintained its cleanliness. We highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Riverton Wy.

Hotel is fine except the rooms are dark and moody. Came on business and had to do a lot of work from the hotel room and found the lighting bad. The lights were very dim, the color of the lights gave off was a dim gray. It made things very difficult to see in the room (I'm not old and my eyesight is fine). I would stay again because there aren't many other options, but if there was a better option with better lighting I would take it. Management should figure out lighting in the rooms.
