Holiday Inn Resort Lumina on Wrightsville Beach by IHG

I had an amazing experience. Guest services were real nice, the rooms were very clean, the resort overall was great. The only thing I didn’t like was the elevators took forever but that’s something that can’t be helped but I will definitely be returning. ❤️

A beautiful beach resort. The staff were all professional and friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious, with very comfortable beds, large and clean bathroom, and looked to have been recently updated. Great views from room, small balcony. Decorations and design in the hotel and the rooms were beach-themed, light, and tasteful. Indoor pool was heated and large, 3ft to 5 ft deep. Outdoor pool was also large, but not heated yet still open. A small outdoor hot tub was open. There was also a small outdoor kiddy pool which is 1 ft deep. Lovely deck which opens onto a big, beautiful, sandy beach. All looks to be clean and well maintained. You may see dolphins swimming nearby. Only slight negative was the food at the restaurant which was decent but not great, despite the lovely views and friendly s

I wanted to give 2 stars , but the food & drinks were delicious & the customer service from the restaurant staff, Willie, travis, & Mike were outstanding. The downside being only 1 elevator was working, they had men cleaning the vents in my room without notice, & they were under a boil water advisory (which I know that part wasnt their fault). It was just a series of unfortunate events. I may try again in the future, but I'm not so sure. I'm definitely coming back to the restaurant!

Positive: The location was beautiful Negative: The staff at check in was rude. After a delayed flight we arrived late, about midnight and the front desk guy acted like it was and inconvience that we were checking in. Gave us no information about where to park or the breakfast situation.

My first time staying at this location. I enjoyed start to finish. Had a little hiccup and needed maintenance (Robert) quick to the scene made the corrections and sent guest services (Megan) which also had a fast response time. Then on check out (Kathleen) helped me close out this experience. With a warm welcome back. Jermaine
