$125 a night while others in the area were much higher due to a conference. Staff were excellent, though obviously frustrated with irate customers. Why irate customers? 20 story hotel with only one working elevator which by reading reviews (should have looked before booking) has been down for several months, it was installed in 1969. Room was recently remodeled, though poorly done, witha beautiful view and the smell of wet, musty, and stale air. On top of that the television stopped working on the second day. Not a deal breaker, I didn't rent a room to watch TV, but I do use background noise to sleep and the cable has been out for two days. Calls to the front desk gave vague but optimistic statements that it would be back up soon but was down for three straight days making me believ

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this one is warranted. The hotel is older which is fine. The bed was clean and comfortable, but the walls and bathtub show old stains. The room was fine for the price, but here's why it's a 2/5. The front desk staff was terrible. We felt like we committed a felony just because we were checking in. Zero manners from any of the employees on the lobby floor. It's bad when the cleaning lady is the nicest person you encounter. I apologized to the am front desk lady for asking for a spoon (because they ran out of plastic ware and coffee). She ignored me and just dropped spoons in the tray. There was a box of cheerios and a few pieces of bread for breakfast. 2 elevators total for 18 floors. One was broken so be prepared to take the stairs or wait. Location i

Honestly, best hotel experience I’ve had. I used to travel a lot with family down in Orlando for Disney almost every weekend and Usually staff is a little difficult, but when I arrived at this hotel at 1am the second I stepped foot into the door. I had five people greet me with big smiles and check-in was super easy everyone was super nice. The room was super clean. Super cozy in the view is amazing. I had no issues with this hotel. It was one of the most smoothest experience I’ve ever had with the hotels, everyone was very nice. All the staff ready to help and would offer solutions to any problems I had and again room was super clean. The beds were super cozy. It’s in a great area for walking around i Highly recommend this hotel especially to anybody first time traveling. It was super eas

A year or so ago the group that bought this 1960’s Holiday Inn announced that it would be renovated and return as a Kimpton Hotel.|It has recently opened as a Holiday Inn but prematurely. |The lobby is very nice and our remodeled room had new wall coverings, carpet, beds and bedding. However we immediately noticed the tub facet had water flowing from it and, most likely has had water coming out for a long time as the enamel on the tub is rusted through. The AC/heater must also be of an earlier vintage- on “High” setting it sounded like a twin engine prop plane was directly over head; on “Low” setting, the sound could best be described as rain hitting a metal roof- not conducive to sleep. There wasn’t an iron or ironing board, nor a laundry bag. And there is a definite lack of electrical o

Please sort these reviews by most recent. I received a call tonight from front desk attendant, Ali. Ali wanted my permission for my wife, a doctor, to check in to this Holdiay Inn. Mind you, my wife made her own reservation and paid with her own credit card. But because my name was on the IHG rewards account, Ali thought it appropriate to hold my wife at the front desk, refusing her the room that she paid for, until she received her husband's permission to have a hotel reservation. It took several phone calls before Ali would allow my wife to check in to the room she had paid for. I contacted IHG customer relations where I was assured this was normal procedure for IHG.
