Holiday Inn Oxnard - Ventura by IHG

We had a really nice stay at Holiday Inn Oxnard. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Everything felt fresh and organized, which always makes a big difference when traveling. Bed was super comfortable! The staff was especially friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. From check-in to any questions we had, everyone was helpful and professional. Breakfast is not included, but it’s available at the bar/restaurant area, which was convenient and a good experience overall. Great stay, great service — we would definitely come back when visiting Oxnard again.

Located in a sea of Parking Lots off the Ventura Freeway the best thing you can say about Holiday Inn Oxnard is that it is affordable. There's certainly nothing picturesque about the place, and rooms are decent but unspectacular. Expect to hear traffic all night, but do not expect a 24/7 gym as promised, because it is currently behind tarp and plastic (but they certainly don't mention that online or when booking.)

Positive: Just have a favorite room looking over the pool Negative: No free breakfast like the others , might stay at the others for the free breakfast

++ Extremely nice and modern room. We were happy to get it in the side of the hotel overlooking the pool, on the higher floor. It was big, clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and proffessional. -- When we entered, AC was blowing and it was 61 F. This is extreme even for US obsession with their AC. I felt like entering a freezer. It didnt get much warmer throughout the night. Walls are very thin. Despite this we would be happy to come back and will put on the note not to turn on the AC for us :)

Disappointing! .. I booked through Expedia and requested an early check in .. 2 hrs .. early.. a week ago..consequently spoke directly to the hotel manager on the day of my arrival.. was told that I could arrive at 12 noon .. I arrived at 2:15 for a 3:00 check in .. was told that It would be 30 minutes .. I am now shoving a delicious donut down my pie hole.. I’ll go back at 3:00 .. I would’ve preferred honesty ! Check in is a huge part of a pleasant stay ..
