Hilton Garden Inn Oxnard/Camarillo

I’m a regular guest at the Hilton Garden Inn Oxnard, and every stay reinforces why I keep coming back. This hotel truly stands out because of its outstanding staff – they’re not just friendly, they genuinely take the time to get to know their guests. It means so much to walk in and be greeted by name. Imelda at the registration desk is always so welcoming and makes check-in a pleasure. The restaurant staff deserves special recognition. They’re always welcoming with warm smiles, and the service is consistently prompt without ever feeling rushed. The food is absolutely delicious – I look forward to my meals there every visit. This hotel is quite convenient, located 10min from. Camarillo airport. Quite good experiences

The staff is very nice here. As for the hotel, it's incredibly dated - furniture is old and run down, elevators are old, TV is very old, even the bedding and towels are old and worn. Half the time there's no hot water - I saw another review mention they called and had a system to fix that but it's very ridiculous to even have to do that as they should expect guests want hot water on demand, not on request. (Editing to add that I called and they have a broken pipe with no ETA on repair, so we left). This hotel needs some serious updates but until then, would recommend staying elsewhere.

We had a really comfortable stay here at the Hilton Garden Inn Oxnard/Camarillo. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet during our stay. The front desk staff told us that just 22 out of 170 or so rooms were occupied during our stay. The only issue we had was that there was no hot water on one of the days we were there, even after running the water for 20 minutes. The front desk staff told us that when the hotel has low occupancy, it takes a very long time for the hot water to travel through the pipes and that this was probably the reason for the lack of hot water. However, the front desk that that they were able to fix this by opening additional hot water valves. Once they did that, the issue quickly resolved. In town for a trade show. Room was typical Hilton Garden Inn and I like that because of the Keurig Coffee Makers. I bring my own pucks as I like my coffee. The Good would be the bar staff. As small as it was, we met some fun people and shared a few stories over quality beverages. |In the morning, I wake up to East Coast Time and went to make coffee... the machine made a 1/4 cup and stopped... Tried again, same thing. Went down to the lobby around 5 am local time and was told they don't have coffee until 6 am. Really? To their credit, I was brought a new machine around 7:45.
