Staff is wonderful, rooms are always nice. Great location for walking to attractions as local food. Restaurant in the hotel always have live music during dinner. I only stay here when visiting or traveling through. Pet friendly BUT there is a fee. Make sure you look into their guidelines before booking or call. Staff is always very nice to talk to

My fiancé was diagnosed with cancer a number of days ago which required us to stay in Nashville in order for her to have surgery at Vanderbilt . Hervie checked us in at the front desk. He was extremely professional, kind, and polite. After learning the reason for our stay, he went out of his way to offer words of hope and encouragement. He took care of the cost for parking and for the cost of breakfast. He is to be commended for his kind demeanor and hospitality, which has become a rarity in this day and age, as a vast majority of employees of large corporations simply show up to work to draw a paycheck. |I will also add that every employee we came into contact with during our stay addressed us kindly and helped us with any questions we had.|We will need to return to Vanderbilt in the fu

My girlfriend and I come to Nashville several times a year, and we just found the hotel we'll be staying at for our future visits! The Holiday Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt has been a wonderful place to stay this week. The location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the shuttle is a great amenity. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating; they helped us change our room type at the last minute since they had availability. The attached Commodore Grill restaurant had very good food, and we enjoyed the live music. Most importantly, the restaurant had numerous gluten-free options, and our servers were very knowledgeable about allergen safety. I have always thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The location is simply perfect and walkable to anything you may want to get in to. The staff is fabulous and the live music every night in the lobby Commodore Grille is amazing. This time my check in was great & smooth with Melissa’s assistance and all the doormen were SOOO sweet, professional and kind throughout my time. Housekeeping is so efficient, kind and efficient. Will recommend to everyone I know.
