Holiday Inn Express & Suites Washington - Meadow Lands, an IHG Hotel

The first three days of our 5 day stay was amazing. The last 2 were very uncomfortable, as we waited for roads to clear for our drive out of state, the manager who was there filling in made me and my children feel really uncomfortable. She was angry that we made a complaint on poop steeping out of toilet, she claims maintence came up to fix it and we were disrespectful, no the first time my child was in the shower so we politely asked for him to come back and he agreed that he would, he said when he came back we would not answer the door, at the time he's saying we were gone so why not use your key to enter. Then as I was down stairs, Angie proceeded to yell as me pointing her finger and shaking her head, so I called IHG to speak to them about my extended stay and how we could fix it ,

loved it will stay there again. The only thing I didn’t like was your hot tub is broke. The hot tub does not get really hot and it doesn’t shoot out like it should maybe it needs a good maintenance but the pool was freezing cold that was crazy, but the breakfast was wonderful. The staff is awesome. Love the front desk love the cookersjust amazing time.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. It had a little sink, fridge, and microwave kitchenette which was nice. Staff was friendly. The free breakfast was really nice better than most places I've stayed. They had fresh pancakes, sausage, egg and cheese omlettes, yogurt, cereal, and juice. The pool area was nice too. Hot tub was nice and warm. Jets could have been a little better but I knew that going in as I had asked staff about your pool before I booked. I appreciate their honesty. Overall a really nice place that was affordable. We will be staying again!

Positive: The Hotel is located just of the Highway, check in was very good staff very helpful, nice clean room, comfortable table bed, nice breakfast selection, we?ll be back when on on next trip. Negative: The only thing was the temp at the jacuzzi could have been more to my liking instead of just luke warm !

The ladies at check in were very friendly. However the next morning we were getting ready for a wedding, cleaning service said she would return, so my husband gave her a generous tip so she would have it. Well we get back at 10pm that night to room that wasn’t cleaned and same soaking wet towels. Then we went to the vending machines to get some drinks and both were not working. Had to leave premises for a drink. Not a good experience at all
