Holiday Inn Express & Suites Urbana-Champaign (U of I Area) by IHG

My wife and I stayed a night on a stop over on our trip to the Bourbon Trail. The staff was very pleasant, especially the young woman that was working at the front desk the evening we checked in. My wife was in need of a toothbrush, and the front desk quickly provided one for her, a well as a sample of toothpaste. Our room was nice, with a few minor issues. The main room itself looked like it had been through a recent renovation, with newer furniture and lighting. The fan in the bathroom was rather noisy, sounding like someone was trying bang their way through from the room above. Add to this that the A/C rattled a bit. Neither of these really spoiled our stay, but for $200+ we expected a little better. Breakfast in the morning was typical of most Holiday Inn locations, the famous

Locks don't work on the doors, so the only option is the latch lock. Then house keeping started knocking on our door at 9:30am, when we were trying to catch up on sleep. What is the deal with that? Besides those things, hotel was nice and good for a Holiday Inn Express. Front desk was really nice.

My wife and I took a trip with our granddaughter and stayed overnight at this HI Express. Very nice hotel, located just off the highway, so easy access. First of all I want to say that this hotel was well maintained, rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and the breakfast had a good variety of items to choose from.||But what made this HI Express special is its General Manager and staff. Without sharing a long story I just want to say that I experienced their generosity and caring first hand. They really care about guests having a great experience. So I would recommend staying at this HI if you are ever in the area. GM Kevin and his staff will provide a great experience!!

I travel frequently for work, and there are only two hotel chains I choose to stay at. One of those two is Holiday Inn Express. The Urbana location is an incredible example of going beyond the brand. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Breakfast is on point every morning. Pool and hot tub are always operating and clean. Rooms are clean and ready to go for check-in. If you're traveling for business or pleasure, this is the spot in Champaign County.

Place was excellent. Everything went great, from checking into the room to checking out the next day. Room looked excellent, with everything you'd would need. Plenty of pillows and a tv that works and has a great picture. Highly Recommend 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
