Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tacoma South - Lakewood by IHG

After a long trip we decided to stay at this hotel and the next morning we tried to drink coffee but the coffee maker didn't work. We spoke to the front desk and Lizzy came quickly and replaced the coffee maker with another one. She is very friendly and let me know that they had coffee 24 hours a day in the lobby. Thank you for your quick action. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

My stay at Holiday Inn Express is off to an incredible start, thanks to Mata at the front desk! Her warm, genuine welcome and exceptional hospitality instantly made me feel at home. She was efficient and friendly. The hotel’s amenities are top-notch— a cozy lounge area, and a fantastic breakfast selection. I’m already impressed and looking forward to the rest of my stay!

This is, by far, the best Holiday Inn Express that we’ve stayed at. We are frequent guests of the hotel and as others have mentioned, the seasonal/holiday decor always looks great and is the first thing you notice upon entering. The staff, is ALWAYS quick to greet you with smiles and warm welcomes. Front desk personnel from Kayla, Lucy, Kennia and Lizzie are absolutely the best! They all go above and beyond, to accommodate any needs we have ever had. The housekeeping staff are so kind and always do a better than great job and always pass by with a smile. The whole facility from parking, to waiting area, breakfast area and rooms are always clean! We love visiting this Holiday Inn Express!!

I originally booked this hotel for a weekend stay with my kids because it has an indoor pool and breakfast — I wanted them to have a fun place to play before heading back to school on Monday. When we arrived Sunday, we went to the pool area and it was freezing cold. I asked if the heat could be turned up, and I was told maintenance would be sent, but no one came right away. Later, I went back to the front desk and met Kayla, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She explained that the heater was temporarily not working, but she immediately offered to have someone come close the windows to help warm up the area.
