Days Inn by Wyndham Lakewood South Tacoma

I had a really good experience staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out, which made my stay stress-free and enjoyable. I especially want to mention Jenny at the front desk. She was extremely kind, professional, and helpful throughout my stay. She greeted me with a warm smile, answered all my questions patiently, and made sure I felt comfortable. Her positive attitude truly made a difference and added a personal touch to my experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again!

Upon entering the bathroom we immediately noticed a false eyelash stuck to the wall, indicating the room had not been properly cleaned. (Photo attached.)||||The parking lot had several people loitering who did not appear to be guests, and there was visible activity consistent with someone booking a room for non-lodging purposes. This made us uncomfortable leaving our vehicle on the property.||||The framing surrounding the interior lock appeared damaged, indicating evidence of a prior forced entry.||||We were required to pay a $100 deposit while also signing paperwork that releases the property from liability for damages—which heightened our concern given the conditions observed.||||Because of the above, we did not stay. Positive: There was nothing to like about this hotel, it was complete trash and nothing like it displayed on the website. Negative: The room was dirty, the bathroom had not been cleaned and had black mold in the bathroom as well. The curtains were falling off the rods and every counter top was damaged in the room. The refrigerator was dirty inside and out, microwave was dirty.

If they ask for the $100 deposit decline it and if they don't let you in your room cancel the reservation! I have minor ear problems in my ears sometimes drain and I'm guessing the bedding got stained and as soon as I checked out they immediately pulled $200 out of my account! This is unacceptable! I feel as if it's fraudulent! They seem to be touchy about their property and their bedding but the rooms are run down and smell a little weird! The HDMI cord was unplugged from the TV so I had to reconnect it! The parking lot smells like a marijuana field! I'm just putting this out there as a warning to everyone! If you are asked do not give the deposit and cancel and go somewhere else! They will pull money when they want or when they feel as if the charge wasn't enough! The picture below is pr

The housekeeping won't speak to me. Only says, "no English " but they speak to my husband. The evening/ night front desk lady is nice. She tries to keep housekeeping accommodating to the room guests. The motel doesn't have towels and the cleaning isn't cleaning at all. Grease is literally caked all over the rooms. You sit on furniture and you can feel it on your pants. Ants literally all over. They crawl on you in your sleep on the bed.
