Holiday Inn Express & Suites Seattle-Everett, an IHG Hotel

AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT Book the jetted tub rooms. There is live black mold growing all around the jets. They don't even wipe it down. You can tell its been there so long with how the growth it. I brought it up to the management but I highly doubt it'll get fixed. The pool has mold growing as well. This tells me to stay far away from the free breakfast. If the housekeepers or per management's request do not clean those other things, what's stopping them from not cleaning where the food is? I requested a partial refund since I couldn't utilize the one thing I really wanted to use. They denied it. Will NOT go to this hotel again. Only reason I rate it a one star is the staff on site was pleasant to deal with and had no issues with them.

Nice quiet area to relax when your done with the day. They have a pool and a hot tub. Majority of the staff were helpful and friendly. There are a few housekeepers and a front desk person that need to be told with very specific detail of what you need or want.

I came with my family on a family emergency… family coming in from California and some from Tri-cities area. We recommend some family members stay in the same hotel as us. My daughter checked into her room second floor across the hall from us and she has a two year old and a one year old . It was 8:34 pm past their bed time and got cranky and thought it would be best to lay the babies down; while the rest of us continued to visit with each other in the common area “breakfast room” my daughter came back down to get the rest of her stuff (literally minutes from going up) the staff member mentions that she got three complaints about the my granddaughter who is two and her crying and yes she was crying and that’s why she went to her room to lay them down kids will be kids and do better with th

I’m not sure why there’s so many bad reviews, but don’t believe everything you read. I’m so glad I ended up staying here. I checked in on Saturday, January 17 in the evening and the very tall man who checked me in was freaking awesome! It was kind of chaotic with a bunch of people checking in, and he had to step away to help somebody else and he handed it all very calmly and with the upmost professionalism! If I lived anywhere near here, I would recruit them to come work for my company. Anyway, my room was great, the shower was great and the elevator worked just fine. This hotel appears to be heavily used. Nonetheless, the bed was very comfortable and the room quiet. Kelly, the breakfast cook/attendant will absolutely brighten your morning. She couldn’t be nicer or more attentive to her breakfast offerings and related items. We have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express hotels and Kelly is one of the very best breakfast attendants we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Kelly is 5 star all the way.
