Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio Rivercenter Area by IHG

We stayed here for a night. The hotel is doing renovations, but we knew that when we booked. The renovations didn't affect our stay. The beds were comfortable. Parking was free which is why we picked this hotel. The staff was some of the most friendliest staff we have come across at any hotel, they genuinely were so kind and nice. We definitely would recommend this hotel.

Positive: Even under construction the hotel was clean, well maintained, and we did not hear any noise. Negative: The pool and hot tub were fine. We swam and kids enjoyed it. It seemed a little dirty both in the pool and around, but it is outdoors which makes it tough to maintain.

I did a group/business stay with this IHG primarily for the location close to HEB. My staff that stayed were very happy with the reception, hospitality, cleanliness and professionalism of everyone. My group was coming down during the artic blast this past Jan and Mr. Nick Gonzalez ( IHG Coordinator) was extremely understanding and supportive. Unfortunately, half our group got grounded or stuck in various airports and Nick made sure to hold rooms for those that were going to make it. This definitely is a HUGE sway for my hotel choice for all future stays.

The hotel room was great and very close to the River Walk attractions. However, the location—being on the other side of the freeway and railway tracks and in an older neighborhood—made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, it was great value for money, and the staff was very friendly. Free parking and free breakfast made for a really relaxed morning at the hotel. Loved the stay.

Ms. Mary at the front desk is amazing!! I urgently needed a room the day after Christmas as I was extending my stay for a day in San Antonio and I was having no luck , there were no rooms available at the time and just when I was leaving and driving away Ms Mary ran and flagged me down and said she found a room. Omg my family and I were soooo happy!! 😊 The rooms were very nice and clean, breakfast was great and the location was convenient.
