Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ruston by IHG

Great hotel great staff but I got a little ill when on the second night my air wasn’t fixed. So I had 2 nights with out air. Normally being a diamond member they take really great care of us. Not being greety but they gave me 500 points. So 2 hot nights with minimal sleep. I would still recommend cause they all have bad times and this was just my turn.

My absolute favorite hotel in all of Ruston. I always look forward to a visit, because the staff really makes you feel like family. The front desk staff are knowledgeable of the hotel and surrounding areas, and offer incredible food and recreation suggestions. Any issue I've had during the stay was swiftly resolved by polite and efficient management, and any question about sales was handled with incredible expertise by the sales team! While no hotel is perfect, when I do run into an issue, the housekeepers acknowledge their mistakes, and fix the issue until I'm satisfied. All in all, this hotel is perfect for a trip, or event!

We were driving home from TX to GA and had to stop in Ruston, LA due to icy road conditions. This was the only hotel with availability. We paid $200 for a room and checked in at 3am. We were told we had to be out by 11am.... thats rediculous to charge $200 for 7 hours! Anyway, you really need to clean your rooms! Hair in the shower, on the toilet and in the floor! Thats nasty! Maybe I would expect it at a $50 /night motel, but not a $200 hotel! And I have pics. I am blonde and these are jet black. I would have left if I had any other options! Do better!

This place is very clean and friendly workers. I just don’t think the room we were in is a $200 room. We have stayed in so much better for a lot less. It definitely needs some remodeling in the bathroom. The AC unit is very loud. My main complaint is the strong scent used for cleaning. I have terrible headaches because of it. The breakfast was very good and the attendant was so friendly.

The front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early for a basketball tournament and they accommodated us as best as possible. Our room was not ready and once it did become ready, they notified us immediately. Once we got into the room, the bathroom sink was dirty out of habit. I cleaned it myself. The shower looked old. Once we put the covers back, there was hair in the bed. I made the front desk staff aware of this at 5:30 PM. Then we left for a basketball tournament. We returned to the hotel at 11:30 PM to find out the bed had been made with the same bedding and the same hair in the bed. There had been a shift change, but Katie did provide us new bedding in additional blankets. Thank you, Katie for your promptness to resolve an issue. I would not recommend staying at t
