Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Ruston

Positive: Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was really good. The lady who prepared it was out there to meet people and we were able to have a nice conversation with her. Negative: Room furnishings were sparse. Just needs a little TLC.

The indoor pool was nice, headed somewhat. Nice hot tub. Breakfast was good with many options - eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, waffles, pastries. Coffee was good. Rooms were nice with just a couple hitches. The bathroom door was a little hard to close, toilet seat slid around a bit, and there was no body wash in the dispenser. But overall pleased. Would stay again if traveling this way.

Clean hotel, friendly staff and the pool / hot tub was nice . Location is good, we were driving back and forth to Choudrant. Overall I was happy and comfortable . Breakfast was great. Military discount is a nice perk . I was nervous reading reviews for Ruston hotels, so I’m grateful we took a chance here

This may seem extreme, but it really bothered me. We paid somewhere around $160.00 for the one night we stayed, this was including taxes and whatever other fees. The room was clean and comfortable (nothing to get excited about, but doable. The continental breakfast is what ruined the stay for me. While traveling we always stay at hotels that offer free continental breakfast, because neither of us are big morning eaters. My wife likes to get her morning coffee and I like to get a small amount of something in my stomach. This was by far the worst sausage gravy I’ve ever had in my life. There were very few microscopic flecks of sausage in the gravy, but I can live with that. What I can’t live with is how watered down it was and the horrible taste. I have never seen such watery gravy. I really

We stayed in a very nice 1st floor room. Great water pressure, but the shower is extremely narrow, like 2 feet wide. My 6'2" 220 lb husband kept banging the wall and shower door! The dark navy wallpaper in the bathroom was gorgeous, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast bar was very nice!!
