Hampton Inn Ruston

Nice, clean rooms with comfy beds and the heat worked perfectly (a big plus on chilly nights). Staff was friendly and check-in/out was smooth. Breakfast was solid: hot waffles, good coffee, plenty of choices. Only real issue: the bathroom tub. Stained, visible mold in the corners, and both faucets were loose/broken. It definitely needs attention. Friendly people, good stay overall, but the tub situation keeps it at 3 stars until fixed.

This hotel was good. Then only thing was the gym is subpar.very small, It offers 4 machines and 2 of those were loud like they needed to be greased, so bad that u didnt want to use them. No where to really use the weights offers, no bench, no mats.

I had the displeasure of staying here four nights for business last week. I always stay at Hampton Inns when I travel because it is a solid brand and I am also a minority owner in two Hampton Inn properties in Las Vegas.|The first thing you will notice upon walking in is the "old" smell. Not horrible, but the smell lets you know this building has been there for quite some time. I noticed as soon as I got into my room that the tank for the toilet was leaking into the bowl, causing the tank to refill every couple of minutes. I reported it immediately and was assured it would be taken care of. The short version of this story is that after mentioning no fewer than 4 times during my stay, no one ever came to fix it. We stayed one night. That was too long. The hotel is not very clean. The first thing that hit was the smell of dirty mop water. The entire hotel. Check in was fine, I did use the app to check in and out, so no issues there. We got to the room- There was a dirty washcloth dried & stuck to the wall in the shower, some dried junk on the front of the sink, no hand soap and the hand lotion was falling off the wall. Night management was not at all pleasant. I admit, my friend and I probably got loud talking during the night, but a simple phone call to ask us to keep quiet would have been sufficient. Instead, the manager banged on the door and threatened to call the police. Threats as a first notice is not appropriate. I did not appreciate the way it was handled. I did not stay for breakfast.
