Holiday Inn Express & Suites Reno Airport by IHG

Business trip this past week. Location to airport was great - early flight home and it only took me 35 minutes from time I left hotel (8 min), dropped rental, went through TSA (I do have pre check) until I was sitting at my gate. I did encounter a problem with a neighbor with a very loud tv after midnight the night before an important meeting. Long story short, Aileen who is the overnight front desk staff member is a rock star. She did all she could and eventually moved my room. I salvaged a few hours of sleep thanks to her. Breakfast is pretty good and staff there was committed to customer service ans well. Avoid an adjoining room just in case you encounter a rude neighbor like I did. The staff here (especially Aileen) is solely responsible for the 4 star rating. Without them it would h

Location is good for a business trip and access to local restaurants and airport. Rooms are comfortable and clean enough. I had an adjoins room on ground floor. The noise level was fair and on the second night I had to contend with a neighbor whose tv volume was inappropriate. I dealt with it in the evening hours but when I awoke at 12:30am it prevented me from falling back to sleep. I contacted front desk and Aileen was helpful and did all in her power to rectify. Unfortunately the guest in the room was just rude and the volume went right back up within a 1/2 hour. Aileen acclimated my request to change rooms (the best I could expect but packing my room and moving at 1:30am before a business meeting wasn’t ideal. Got the cool opportunity to stay here for 26 days for a business trip, I had a very easy check in & was given the room 222 .. right off the elevator so I appreciated the fact there was never one of those scary long walks down a hallway on late working nights lol Staff was amazing , shout out to RAY for always checking in & taking care of all my Amazon deliveries, Isabell & Aline were nothing short of amazing too ! Very friendly & all staff is always working. Rarely did I see anyone not taking care of something or someone The location is walking distance to a lot of different places , thrift stores , food , small markets , gun range & Tahoe ! Thank you Ray Isabell & Aline for the amazing care & customer service !

Overall an excellent experience for a 2-night stay for its price. It's a very new hotel and clean. Guest room was very spacious. Hot breakfast included and it was delicious. Free self-service coffee and tea all day long at the lobby, while still offering a Keurig machine in guest room. Plenty of parking spaces and reasonable parking fee. ||The only complaint was the air conditioning. It's very loud and couldn't remain at consistent temperature. It's either too warm or too cold.

I thought it was pleasant, clean and the bed was very  comfortable. I didn’t like that the soap was affixed to the wall and not easily removable. It makes it hard to ttake a bath. The location right next to the airport was convenient and there was a mini mart within walking distance. However, no real places to eat or coffee shops within walking distance. They do have e an airport shuttle. The breakfast looked good overall. However my egg white veggie omelette was just okay. It could use a chef’s input to make it more appealing. It had green peppers cheese and onions. I liked that they had some fresh fruit and healthy as well as more decadent options however.
