Holiday Inn Express & Suites Port Charlotte, an IHG Hotel

The room that was given to us . Wasn't presentable at all . The headboard to the bed wasn't there . I don't like my head touching the wall instead of a proper headboard. The cleaning could have been better. There was hair in the tub . The floor wasn't swept or vacuumed . There is breakfast. Nothing fancy . The lady that takes care of breakfast is kind and really tries to be of help if needed. She is always helping someone with explaining the breakfast and what to eat . I found her to be delightful. I and my wife had no energy to go all the way down and switch rooms. We kept it as is . We're exhausted from losing our home to Hurricane Milton. The beds are comfortable and cozy . It would just be nice to have had the room cleaned thoroughly without seeing others' hairs in the bat

After two nights of disaster hotel stays in Tampa and Ocala What a relief with this hotel ! Clean clean comfortable and great staff

Nice remodeled rooms and lobby. Great Choice Hotel pillows. Friendly front desk. Typical Choice Hotels breakfast with a kitchen person keeping items restocked and clean. Hot tub and pool area were clean. I will definitely stay again here.

This is a typical HIE. Clean , quiet, comfortable room. However, the staff throughout the hotel were exceptional. I made a reservation mistake and they helped me fix it. Friendly professional service when we checked in or asked questions at the desk. Breakfast was very nice and the attendants were friendly. Even the housekeepers smiled and spoke to us. We extended our stay by an extra night because of the staff. A bonus surprise for us was the nice view from our room. We could see a lake, framed by palm trees and greenery. Lovely

We have had a great experience at the Holiday Inn Express. We arrived around noon and took a chance that there might be a room ready for us however, we weren’t to concerned because we could just go to lunch and come back later. We were treated like family the minute we walked in. We were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge because they had one available. The room was clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner worked well and kept us very cool. I would highly recommend this hotel. ||||The free breakfast was modified due to Covid but was still available and very good. We just told them what we wanted and they made a “to go” container for us. We just took it up to our room to eat as the lobby seating was not opened during this phase of Covid reopening. Phyllis
