Charlotte Bay Resort and Club

It’s a good floor plan and beds were comfortable. However Wi-Fi is only if you sit by front door. No Wi-Fi in any other part of condo not even on balcony. The patio doors do not lock. Bathroom bulb was burned out . Parking garage very poorly lit. Location was in walking distance to Sun Seekers.

This is a small resort, just 12 units, so it's less formal or rules-bound than most others. The manager Andrea was friendly and helpful. Its great location near the bridge to Punta Gorda, with all the restaurants and shops, is its key to success. Its main amenity is the excellent heated pool, which is well maintained and long enough to swim laps, my favorite exercise. The bed was too firm for me but my wife had no trouble. Furniture was mostly comfy. The MBR bath is very small. They need to fix the situation with the mongrel set silverware, and too few plates.I dinged the Rooms here one point for that reason.

Pool area quiet, clean and plenty of chairs. Room is big and equipped but retro decor. Staff friendly. Beach and Park is fenced off across the street so no access. Plenty of parking.

#208 was very clean. The only negative was the sink stopper in the guest bathroom was permanently down. We enjoyed the area, and appreciated the check-in process after hours, per friendliness, and the washer and dryer were very appreciated. The location and parking garage were easy to access and close to so much!

Resort is definitely dated but location is great. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean but we found dirty glasses and cups so washed everything before we used them. Nice pool and hot tub although we did not use them or the grill that was available as we were only there 3 nights and wanted to frequent the restaurants. Village Brewery in Fisherman's Village was great and is is dog friendly!
