Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pittsburg by IHG

This used to be my "go to" place to stay when I came to town to visit friends. After my experience yesterday with all of the staff on the phone with regards to my upcoming reservation, not anymore. This used to be a great place to stay when it was under prior management, so just take all of the great reviews with a grain of salt, because it's really gone downhill since then. I had a reservation booked here for April. I had booked my stay quite a while back and while checking my reservations, I noticed that IHG was having a flash sale and that I could book at a better rate than I had originally received. So, I canceled my original reservation and rebooked. BOTH reservations were "no deposit required", which is exactly why I did this. Imagine my surprise and dismay when I was checking my b

Staff were amazing as always. The stay was overall pleasurable but a few things left me unsatisfied. First, the hot tub was not working the entire duration of my stay. This is one of the main reasons I choose to stay here. Second, breakfast was good but more variety would be great. Got to have bacon once during the whole 5 day stay and when I went back for more it was all gone.

Tim was great. Very welcoming. He went above and beyond helping me park my truck and trailer as well as getting ice fir my wife. We will return and this time we'll make sure to use the pool. Thanks for a great trip.

Holiday Inn express quality. The hallways smelled musty, but the room was clean and smelled good. My bed was very comfortable, but the platform made creaking noises every time I moved. Pillows were great - had both feather and non-feather. The blackout shades were good. It was dark and quiet at night. The bathroom was clean except the toilet bowl looked like they hadn't scrubbed it lately. Dove soap, shampoo and conditioner bottles were filled. The staff was super friendly. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and tasted good. It was close to shopping and restaurants. For the price and location, I would stay here again.

This place blew me away !!!! Oh my. To start with it was very very clean inside and out. My bed was so very comfortable and every person working here was just unbelievably nice. I simply cannot emphasize this enough !! So nice and kind. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Pool and hot tub area was great.
