Holiday Inn Express & Suites Montrose - Black Canyon Area, an IHG Hotel

My wife and I loved our stay here. The rooms were clean, the water got hot fast, the shower was strong, and the service was great. The people at the front desk were always polite, and the breakfasts were fresh, hot, and had a great selection! On Saturday during our stay, there were about 200-300 high schoolers in town for a basketball tournament, as well as their chaperones. They completely took over the breakfast hall in the morning, and were about as ravenous as you'd expect kids that age to be. Still, the hotel staff absolutely crushed the breakfast service. Jamie was on top of everything, and kept hot food going for the full 3 hour breakfast window, while still remaining exceedingly polite and courteous with guests, managing to answer their questions, and keeping us informed when an it

I had a wonderful Stay! I stay here all the time for business and pleasure. Wendy and Taylor are so wonderful and make me feel like I’m at my home. Wade and Tony accommodated my every need for assisting my clients and getting the board room ready! I will definitely be back! I am so sorry to hear that the hotel did away with both hot tubs and pool. Everytime I stayed I enjoyed the hot tub and pool. They were so fun and relaxing.

This newly renovated accommodation checked all the boxes for us. Our room was super clean and had thoughtful touches, including hooks for towels and jackets, bedside charging ports, and a well lit sink area. There’s a coffee machine in the lobby for 24hr access to freshly ground coffee, including decaf. Breakfast was delicious and had options for a variety of dietary preferences. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We requested shuttle service from the airport and again in the morning to pick up our vehicle and enjoyed chatting with both the staff members who drove us. We 100% recommend this hotel!

Excellent stay, extremely welcoming staff and newly renovated rooms. Overall a welcoming cozy vibe. My favorite was the true black out blinds. I’ve never seen this in a hotel and it was one step above expectations. The shower pressure was awesome as well, Thanks Team!
