Holiday Inn Express & Suites Leesburg - Historic District by IHG

We stayed for one night, my main complaint is that the air conditioner wasn't working and the room got to 80°, we brought our dogs and they were panting and miserable :( the front desk told us to turn it off and back on- we already had tried that. Well we ended up having to unplug the whole unit because no matter what we did it would still blow out this putrid hot air. After our third trip to the front desk- they gave us a fan. A fan. Not a new room. Not a discount. A. Fan. But it made it livable I just feel like for $149 the room should work correctly. Other than that, it is a very clean hotel (they even had the toilet paper sculpted into a bow ♡♡♡) and the breakfast was amazing!! We booked our wedding hotel reservation block through the Holiday Inn Express in Leesburg. We booked Aug 2024 for our May 2025 block and they allowed for us to book 20 rooms at minimum. If we had more than that number, it was based off of availability but the rate was still constant as long as they booked under our block. The sales office was great to work with as they were very timely with their email responses but just know they work typical business hours (M-F 9-5) as compared to the front desk which is 24/7. Rooms were basically brand new since they had recently renovated during changeover from Comfort Suites into the Holiday Inn Express in Jan 2025. Plus they gave us a wedding present in our room after the event! Would highly recommend.

Located near lots of shopping and restaurants, this hotel is a real value. The room and common areas were very clean. I would only give the bed a 9 as it was a little too firm for my liking. Lots of choices for breakfast, hot and cold. The staff was so nice, friendly and helpful! The whole experience exceeded my expectations!

The worst experience I have had with a hotel — incompetence or just predatory business practices. I booked and pre-paid for a room through a 3rd party platform and at check-in was asked to provide a credit card for incidentals. Within 2 mins I saw that my card was charged for the price of the room. I immediately asked them to resolve the issue and the front desk attendant said that only the manager could perform that task, and that they would do it when I came in the next day. Three weeks later, I have called them 4 times and my credit card company has also called and emailed… Each time we get the response that only the manager can perform the refund and that they are not in, even when we call at the times that they recommend we call. We stayed at this hotel for one night. Rooms were immaculate. Hallways and common area were clean. The room had ample storage and surfaces for a multiple-day stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets were soft. Outlets on the desk and on end stands had USB A and C connections. Our only criticism is that the tub bottom seemed slippery. The grab bar couldn't be reached while showering. This should be corrected or a grab bar installed inside the shower area.||The room had a small balcony. Since we had a few hours to kill after breakfast, I enjoyed sitting there. ||The breakfast was good...standard fare for this type of hotel. There is a small fittness room and a reasonable-sized, indoor pool. We didn't have time to use them. ||We would definitely stay
