Clarion Hotel & Conference Center Leesburg

The hotel is old, used and abused. The room was dark and dungy, the bed was horrible because the foot of the bed was 6inches higher than the head of the bed. The curtains were old and dirty, the furniture was very old, used and crappy. The front desk manager gave us a room number to the wrong building and my husband and I walked into an occupied room. Overall, a horrible and disgusting experience!! The pictures on the website are not current!!! Don’t do business there and don’t spend your money at this horrible hotel. Good luck!!!

This is a very dated hotel,in need of a total makeover. It is also located in a land locked area with one way in and out. Nothing close by without getting on the highway. Only saving grace was our server ( bartender )at dinner. He was super upbeat and friendly oh yes the food served at dinner was delicious.

This hotel cancel the reservation for the remaining night as “not show” for the first night, and now don’t want to pass a statement that they cancel the reservation on their end so I can’t dispute the charge to the third party I used to do the reservation. It is the first time in all my travel experience that I have got the day after to check in and found out they cancel on their own a multiple day reservation. Also in the parking lot there were suspicious cars and activities, I didn’t feel safe staying there as a women.

Absolutely horrifying experience here. The photos on the website clearly do not display what these rooms are really like. The room we were given was absolutely filthy. It smelled horrible. The curtains were stained, the floors were filthy, the towels were dirty and smelled like mildew and very musty. A previous guests FOOD was left under the desk on the floor, cobwebs everywhere and barely working lights. The dresser was broken and the floor boards were popping up…I was horrified. We did not stay there that night and when I contacted the manager about a refund he never once replied. Don’t let the website photos fool you….they are lacking serious sanitation at this hotel.

I tried to cancel but it was too late so I decided to stay for the weekend and hope the reviews were wrong….unfortunately, everyone is correct and the hotel is by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed at. I opened a bar of soap, placed it on the bathroom counter, and there was a blonde hair on it (I am not blonde)! The beds were clean (did a bedbug check) but the pillowcases were varying shades of white and yellow :/. Like others mentioned, the outside door is broken and accessible without a key. The rooms window shades were broken and could not fully close. This hotel needs to be remodeled badly - I will be avoiding the Clarion name forever.
