Holiday Inn Express & Suites Galveston Beach by IHG

Our room was ready early, which was a great surprise. It was clean and quiet. We stayed for two nights before our cruise and had no problems with the property. It's in a great location, right across from the gulf, and you can walk a few blocks to bars, restaurants, or to catch the trolley along the Seawall or the rail car up into the strand/historic district. Breakfast was included, and it was pretty good. Hotel employees were friendly and helpful. Our room was equipped with a fridge, microwave and small keurig coffee maker. The windows had light shades as well as a blackout shade. I would stay here again.

Stayed here the night before our cruise, and used the $15/day parking for the week. Rooms are roomy, we had a balcony with the absolute BEST view of the ocean! We were right next door to The Spot, ordered food. It was fresh & yummy! The staff was so nice, breakfast had a variety. Pictures were an afterthought & mainly to document my nerdy kids getting ready for a week of no wifi!

Positive: Closest to beach across the street, 2 short blocks from Pleasure Pier, next door to my favorite family restaurant " The Spot " Hotel pool perfect size for swimming in with family, available clean towels as needed. Covered parking - fantastic! Negative: ""

The front desk is top-notch, you can tell this place is really good just from the first impression. The room was super clean and had a nice smell all around, not like the usual Room smell. The breakfast was pretty good and the service was really nice. I definitely recommend Holiday inn, I'll be staying here again.

Good location. Rooms and hotel itself are clean and they work at it. My room was certainly nice. Breakfast is included and it is reasonably good. However, elevators are slow and one of them doesn't work correctly all the time. No free parking. Handle in my shower came off. Usb ports on bedside didn't work. So little things could be better and are annoying.
