Holiday Inn Express & Suites Corpus Christi-Portland by IHG

My room was very clean, the bedding was well above average and the front desk was amazing. I couldn't find anything to complain about. This place is a bargain. I've stayed in 4 star hotels that weren't this clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Although parking was limited, it was expected given the location. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The only downside was the limited breakfast options, but it was still adequate. Overall, a great experience for the price, and I’d definitely consider returning.

It used to be a great place. Lobby and breakfast areas were well maintained, but that's where it stops. Room was just okay, with paint peeling in a corner due to water leakage. No laundry bag. Duct tape used to hide a corner that had been bashed in. Breakfast was sloppily executed. No cartons of milk or water from the machine due to being out of order. instead, gallons of milk and juice were offered from the mini fridge. Because so many people handled those, we found it unsanitary. No water provided. No hard boiled eggs in mini fridge. The pancake machine was also out of order. It appears this hotel is cutting corners and trying to make extra money by shortchanging their customers. With all the new hotels in Portland now, there are better places to stay.

Keys had to be te done by front desk 4 times. Convenient to Municipal Park for baseball but the hotel needs some love. Tub was rusted out, floor tiles give when you step in them. Plywood covering numerous windows of the hotel. Just not great. I will try my luck at one of the other hotels in the vicinity if I come back. Everyone at the front desk was kind hence the 2 stars instead of 1

The front desk staff was extremely friendly. Housekeeping seems to do a subpar job, considering that we found shards of glass in our carpet, our bathtub had rust in it, and our refrigerator was about to topple over when we opened the door.
