Positive: My room was nicely kept and clean. My experience with the front office staff, they were both friendly and polite. Negative: No! My whole experience was exceptional

1) Clerk behind desk didnt know anything other then how to check in/out customers. 2) Light above headboard would not turn off. There was no switch. 3) Maintenance was not on site during stay to repair light. 4) Couldn't sleep with the light on. 5) Hotel Clerk didnt know what or who to ask? 6) Ice Machine was completely empty, no ice would come out.

This out of the way motel is a hidden gem. The rooms are well equipped, very clean with the needed comforts for short or long stays. The price was very reasonable. The stay was quiet and safe. Plenty of monitors for your property safety. The owner/manager Pratik is direct with his expectations but extremely friendly and accommodating. My stay was very pleasant, peaceful and restful

I wanted to share our experience. I'll start with Pete the manager. He was a huge reason for my review. He was so kind and very helpful. He made sure my wife and I had everything we needed before going to our room. The room was very clean and it also had a fridge and microwave. The beds are new and we slept very well. I enjoyed my run on the treadmill in their fitness center the following morning. The fitness center had everything I needed to get a full workout. Overall I was impressed and encourag anyone visiting Portland, Tx and need a play to stay. This is it! Ask for Pete! God bless

Great service. Great rooms. Beautiful & comforting facility. With the New Management (Pete) who has taken over AND re-construction complete, this hotel has gotten a whole lot better than before. Rooms, floor & beds are very clean & comfortable; relaxing. Very well. Sanitized. Unfortunately, we did not get to take advantage of the pool. Weather was too cold and pool was freezing because of cold weather, but pool is well kept up with. Clean. Inviting; tempting despite fridgid temperatures. We enjoyed a well needed quite and peaceful stays. Spacious rooms. The new general manager in charge checked me into a exceptionally suitable room to meet my needs. Yet, still made sure it was satisfactory for my wife and children. Breakfast was normally the same, but yet amazingly decent.
