Holiday Inn Express & Suites Columbus - Easton Area by IHG

I had such a great experience. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they changed my room because the door wasn't working. And they were always nice to help with any questions. The location was perfect for me, since I was on a business trip and the office was like 5 minutes away and the fitness room was good enough to do some cardio.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Columbus and overall had a comfortable experience, mainly because the rooms were genuinely good. The room was clean on arrival, well set up, and felt modern and comfortable. The bed was solid, the space was quiet enough to rest, and it generally felt like good value for the price.|| A few staff interactions came off unnecessarily rude or dismissive, which is disappointing because it changes the whole vibe of the stay. Also, I was asked for my ID multiple times in a way that felt excessive and inconvenient, especially after already completing the check-in process.||Room cleaning was another weak spot. The staff at this hotel was so wonderful. Every single employee I had contact with was so nice and welcoming. The place was clean and the pool was the star of the show (at least to my children). In the room there were a couple things that made me go eh, mainly the broken reading light and the obvious quick fix of caulk on the bathtub. Both things are superficial. I recommend this hotel overall.

Property was conveniently located to alot of retail/shopping. The kids enjoyed the pool; however, I think it had too much chlorin. Our eyes and noses, including mine and I didn't swim were irritated for several hours after we left the pool. The conditions of the rooms needs to be updated or at the very least professionally cleaned. The carpet in the room was badly stained. I didn't even want to walk on it barefoot. The chair furniture in the room had rips, holes, and stains in the fabric. I could tell that the sink in the bathroom had been completed cracked in half and they put it back together. Not done by a professional though as it had a rough end that scratched us when trying to wash our hands. The website mentioned that the TVs are smart and have streaming, that was was not true. The

Not my favorite holiday inn. I'm an IHG member so I have stayed at quite a few in Columbus. The staff was friendly and helpful. Really just little things. The towels, bedding and pillows were not as nice as I'm used to for a Holiday In. Room kinda smelled. That being said it was sufficient for one night.
