Holiday Inn Express & Suites Colorado Springs South I-25 by IHG

It was supposed to be our secondary hotel, yet we were surprised about how clean the hotel is but that's not the reason for the 5 stars review. It was the staff, specifically the 3 ladies that worked the front desk from Nov 14-16. If there's a rating above 5 stars, that would be for them. From the time we checked in upto checking out the level of service is comparable to some 5 star hotels that we stayed before, actually they "out-serviced" some of them. They all make us feel welcomed. Also, the day we checked out. While we are at the lobby waiting for our ride - my son wanted to go to the bathroom. The front desk lady advised me not to use the men's restroom since she saw one of the guest, who's clearly sick, exited the restroom and told me to ask my wife to take my son instead to the w

Positive: Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodations exceeded my expectations and the room and hotel were very clean. Negative: Location wasn’t ideal for me. However, it was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. That made it worth it. It’s conveniently located by the interstate at least with food and shopping next to the hotel. So I cannot complain.

We stayed for a week over Christmas and this property was great! Big shoutout to two individuals in particular who were amazing, Aira at the front desk and the maintenance supervisor - incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming! The property is located at the very southern edge of CS and was great for hopping on I-25. We were about 20 minutes away from Garden of the Gods or Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely be returning again soon. The facility is clean and quiet. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast is far above the standard hotel breakfast - loved the option of Greek yogurt. Margaret (breakfast staff) is amazing at welcoming guests, cleaning the dining area, resupplying breakfast food, and making everyone feel happy and cared for - she was the best part of our entire stay!
