Holiday Inn Express & Suites Colorado Springs Airport by IHG

I stayed at the hotel the last week of February 2026. The room was quiet and clean and comfortable. Staff were polite and attentive. The breakfast was a nice bonus. Hot, fresh, and there was enough variety so that I didn't leave for my meetings hungry. Coffee was so-so. (It could be a smoother blend and not as bitter). My only real complaint, and it's kind of a big one, is that the beds are way too soft, meaning you are swallowed by the mattress and you feel too warm at night. As someone who likes a firm bed, that's a problem. I understand hotel beds tend to be softer than what you might have at home, but I'm only 150 lb and I was sinking into the bed. Down pillows are also too hot. With a firmer mattress, it would have been a great experience.

I’m highly allergic to pets so chose this property for that reason to start. So many locations that say they are pet free (except for ADA only approved service animals) don’t enforce that policy as we had happen to us recently at another hotel in the Fort Worth area. Very upsetting. We were visiting the area overnight for a Saturday evening concert at Stargazers theater and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo the next morning, so we chose this property for our one night stay. Free parking, friendly front desk staff, were able yo check in earlier than 3 pm, third floor room with a window that opened, and very clean. Loved the full sized toiletries by the sink and in the shower. Also loved the walk in shower, with great hot water and decent water pressure. Next morning’s breakfast was ample and ta

Both suites I stayed in had great views of the mountains. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The only downside I experienced was the two suites I stayed at were next to the storage room. So I had to hear the door open and shut throughout the day and evenings. Other than that, great hotel and I would definitely stay here again

Bacon on the breakfast buffet? Well-cooked? 5 stars! The cool thing about this hotel is, they built it so that every room has a view of the Rocky Mountains. As for the usual hotelly concerns, they did a good job on everything: our room was clean and nice, the bed was comfortable, they gave us a bottled drink at check in, etc. It's a virtual certainty that we'll stay here again.

Was visiting family and picked this hotel because of past experiences, and this time didn’t disappoint. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Close to everything and clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast was exceptionally good . The pillows weren’t great , and I would like to have more room cleaning done as they only clean on Wednesday and Saturdays or twice a week , the sheets were never changed even when we did have cleanings. Very comfortable rooms , I will continue to stay at express hotels and know I will get good quality service.
