Holiday Inn Express & Suites Clute - Lake Jackson by IHG

There was no hot water in the showers in the mornings. I've never stayed at a hotel that didnt have hot water. Breakfast was completely gone by 6:30. I waited 45 minutes and they never refilled the breakfast bar. Tons of stray cats in the parking lot. Carpet in the rooms was stained and disgusting. Shower head was also disgusting, it looks like its never been cleaned.

The room spelled VERY badly of pet (cat) although a sign is posted at the front desk saying it’s a pet free hotel. Toilet took hours to fill with enough water to flush again. Fridge wasn’t cold. Bathroom light flickered while on during second night, went dim, and never got bright again. Breakfast didn’t have many options and wasn’t good.

The hotel was clean and met the needs of our family. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were nice and we had enough pillows and blankets. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was clean and is located in a quiet location that is easily accessible. The breakfast was a bit sparse for anyone with allergies (celiac) but we always bring our own stuff since we know not every place accommodates. We will stay here again in the future.

Hmmmmm.....where do I begin... the bathroom....pubic hair on the toilet, the bathroom was absolutely filthy. I don't think the bathroom floor had ever been clean. Hair behind the door and on the door. Shower head was terrible, the cover over the drain was loose and of course the shower curtain was stained. At 11:30PM a fire alarm went off, or some sort of alarm in the hallway. After a sleepless night, my husband went down to get breakfast, he passed trash outside the room down from us...two or three bags just hanging out in the hallway. But he really enjoyed seeing the large box of Coco Pebbles cereal by the elevators spilling over the trashcan. |I received an email to check out online...the internet was so bad I could not download the app. I told the desk clerk, she argued with me

I was not impressed, especially for the price. Floors in my room were sticky, don't believe the shower head has ever been cleaned, key card had to be reset like every other use. The kids' room flooded ( I believe from the AC, maintenance guy said from rain waters coming through the wall), and the floors were sticky/oily. Moved to another room, no flooding, but floors were the same. The key cards wouldn't allow entry back in from the pool area, and the hot tub I feel has ever had the dead skin cleaned out (Nasty). Same issue with those key cards having to be constantly reset. The "free breakfast" was terrible (had better eggs deployed in the Army). The pancake machine didn't work right. Milk was soured, and orange juice tasted watered down. I would NOT recommend (and may never stay in Holid
