Capital O Parker Motel Clute Jackson Tx 332

My one queen bed was comfortable and room was clean and only $55. total. There are way nicer hotels right off rt. 288 if you feel like paying over double the money. Room had nice TV with satellite. WiFi, Good working A/C, microwave, refridgerator. Bathroom soap provided but NO shampoo or morning coffee. Lots of convenience right across the street. Dollar store, Sonic, Dominos Pizza and a Mexican Restaurant. A number of the units appear to have semi-permanent occupants, but everyone was friendly. Had no problem with noise. Slept well. Only about 20 units.

This location is easily the worst booking I've ever had. Once I was checked in, there was never anybody in the lobby/counter. I returned to the office several times until it got dark, around 7pm. After it got dark, I never left my room. The TV remote was the wrong one for the TV in the room. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. I had to use the emergency roll that I keep in my car. There was only 2 towels in the bathroom and no soap. The people in the next room were fighting so loud, they sounded like they were in the same room with me. There seemed to be long-term residents that all knew each other, by the way they constantly went to certain rooms, stayed for a brief time, then returned to their own room. I think this motel has a bad reputation from long time ago, but really it's not a bad place anymore. The managers have cleaned up and kicked out all the riff raff.. it's a pleasant place to stay now. Great managing...

DO NOT STAY HERE. The woman at the front desk was hateful, dismissive, and could’ve cared less about customers. The room we got was absolutely disgusting, roaches everywhere, dead and alive, the curtains were “pinned” into place with plastic tacks. It smelled like someone had been smoking just before I walked in. I expressed this to the front desk lady and she told me to go away. When we pulled in to actually stay the night and there was a man OD’ing by the entrance, and three men shooting up in front of our door, with the front desk lady standing right next to them and just watching. Homeless people everywhere. I didn’t feel safe and didn’t even end up staying. We spent another $150 after spending $236 at Parker to book a safer hotel and stayed there. There is a roach infestation in room 31. Many kinds many sizes and unexplainable, I left early. This was not a good decision
