Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chattanooga (East Ridge) by IHG

Disappointed with our stay. Traveling through to Florida I booked this hotel in advance. Upon arriving the front desk girl was not friendly or accommodating when we needed extra towels for our room. Things only got worse. Foldout couch bed was broken and no usable, there was a crack on sink in bathroom, tub floor felt dirty and unlevel. Shower head didn’t work well, dirty. Very loud street and traffic noises, as well as hallways. Pool small and water felt “ dirty”. I got a rash on my leg just being in the pool a few minutes and had to get out. We were given a fold out bed and 500 points but I do not feel that is equivalent to what I paid for and actually received upon arrival. Plus two of our children did not sleep well due to fold out couch being broken. Do not recommend this hotel.

We got off to a shaky start with an inattentive and almost rude front desk attendant. She was really too busy on her phone to even look at me while she demanded my license and credit card. That aside, it was a good overnight experience. The linens were good, bed comfortable and shower offered relief from a long day of driving. |The free breakfast was VERY good. The breakfast staff were wonderful (perhaps they should switch them to the front desk!) The pancake machine was interesting and my husband enjoyed them.|We were on first floor....would not be my choice because of the amount of foot traffic from the parking lot. Overall, a good experience.

I came here with my family Nov 2025. At first we were skeptical about the hotel because of the 2-star rating that we saw online, but we still decided to give it a chance. When we came through the entrance, we were pleasantly surprised by the homely environment my staff. The entire hotel is nice and clean, including our room/bathroom were clean. The breakfast was another pleasant surprise. They have a lot of healthy options that were cooked well. Overall, this hotel is a great option if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area!

The rooms were nice and clean. The staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was decent for a medium stay hotel. At times the coffee bar needed attention and cleaning. However, overall, the hotel was quite clean and nice. The parking lot is small spots can become scarce. Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops in the area. “State of Confusion” and “Frothy Monkey” are top choices.

Thank-you for providing a clean welcoming stay. The breakfast was excellent & hot. The front desk lady I believe she said her name was Kayla was very sweet and helpful in guiding us around town. I recommend this hotel to anyone. No complaints what so ever.
