Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston - Northwoods by IHG

They are the only hotel I’ve seen that opens a conference room for the hockey kids to play mini sticks during a tourney weekend. It was such a great place for the kids to get energy out and even meet kids from other teams. Super cool of them and very grateful for the way they worked WITH it all, not against it.

Everyone in this hotel was very friendly and courteous. If you had a problem they fixed it. The rooms are very clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast has many choices especially those cinnamon rolls. The pool was open but to cold to go in but they were out there Che king the water and making sure it was clean. ( as it was right outside my room. The best thing is I requested a first floor and they were very nice about getting me one. Overall a 10 out of 10 and the only hotel I ever stay at.

Positive: Inside was clean and I enjoyed the breakfast. Negative: The side door had a smear of dirt or something just below the handle.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay. The Location is near eatery and a mall. It's near the expressway and our room was decent. Previous guest left a piece of gum on the night stand which I carefully removed(yuck). Stayed on 1st floor, desk staff was cordial, helpful and they have a public computer in the lobby. Front doors and external exit lock. Pool area is small,clean and private. Breakfast has the basics except no waffles served during this visit, they offered pancakes(💛). Fresh coffee, fruits, 2 variety of yogurts and pastries.

The manager Ms Cheryl ensured a great experience. There was a reception before dinner time where we networked and met other guests. The rooms were clean and tidy. The overall experience was positive.
