Holiday Inn Express & Suites Belmont by IHG

The stay was comfortable in all ways. Special thanks to Diana who warmly welcomed me for a quick breakfast plate, despite of me being 5 minutes late from cutoff. While following all rules, she used her judgements and customer service first mentality to offer me access to breakfast area with a smile. Many thanks Diana. In addition the rooms were new, clean, spacious. Font desk was really helpful and quick at checkout. Parking super convenient. Location was very convenient from freeway.

Staff was incredible. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Stayed in a double queen bed room. Diana assisting with breakfast went above and beyond for all the guests. Really made our stay! Kayle at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. Overall would very much so recommend this hotel! Such a great find.

The breakfast area had ants all over, very disgusting. When I told the front desk person about the ants, they did not seem to care one bit. This is an older renovated hotel. In my room, the bedroom area was updated but the restroom & entryway were not. I prefer to stay in a new or fully renovated hotel. My room had an adjoining door to the next room, which I was not told beforehand or I wouldn’t have chosen it. Extra fee for parking at the hotel. Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel & won’t stay here again.

Positive: Staff at the desk was friendly. Hotel employee at breakfast was very kind and helpful. Room, lobby and dining area was clean. Toiletries were in larger user-friendly bottles. We appreciated the good exhaust fans in the bathrooms and the 12pm checkout. Negative: I do wish that breakfast was fully stocked until 9:30 and that there were fruit options available. Our room had three towels even though it was reserved for four people (obviously not a big deal, but it prevents a call to front desk and waiting).

The gym is too small. No weights and no mats and no room to spread out for non aerobic work on the three machines in there. There are three trash cans in there but no label as to which one is for the towels and which for the trash so it looks like people are putting everything in both! The room was clean. I would have preferred no carpet. I’m giving five stars for the service I received in the kitchen from Diana. She was friendly and helpful.
