Holiday Inn Express & Suites Albany by IHG

Don’t assume they will honor your reservation. This hotel refused to rent a room to my daughters because not everyone in the room was 21. Website very clearly states that one person in the room must be over 21. (Not ALL persons). Hotel staff was rude and cancelled the reservation for a ’rule’ fabricated on the spot.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room very clean and spacious. The breakfast - for me - I would have liked to have a hot cereal and whole milk as a choice. The sausage was extremely spicy. But overall a good breakfast for my husband but not for me. The bed is very comfortable with the exception that you can not sit firmly on the edge. It squeeze down and you slide off. The tub side is too high for a handicapped person to get into and we were in the handicapped room. A bigger table with 2 chairs would be awesome for eating, reading, using a laptop or phone or just enjoying a cocktail. These are just my personal ideas. We only stayed one night and arrived around 5 PM and left around 9:30 AM so we did not have the luxury of just lounging and enjoying down time in the ro

Stayed with a group for wrestling tournament. Rooms clean, linens abundant, breakfast area tidy and neat, food fresh and well prepared. Jenn at the front desk is a remarkable human being. She showed compassion and kindness to a homeless man who had stopped in. She’s an asset to this hotel. Would stay here again if in the area!! Softest sheets ever!!! 5 star hotel linens!

This is the best Holiday Inn Express! The provided snacks, fresh cookies, and bottled water is a great touch after a long drive. We enjoyed the hot breakfast and hard-boiled eggs. The freshly ground coffee in the machine is extraordinary. The room was clean and comfortable. Jenn was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely stay in Albany Holiday Inn Express again!

Our daughter learned to walk going up and down the halls here over New Year's after some family drama put us in a hotel for the holidays! We had such a lovely time, extended our stay & forgot our troubles by the end of our stay. LOL. Very happy guests and the breakfast has cinnamon rolls with sports TVs. Felt very close to family activities too! (The staff could use more support from ownership, often only 1 or 2 people doing the work of 10!! Impressive, but wish them some more employees hopefully)
